We can talk about our history in the field of farming and packing from a generational perspective, yet family tradition is probably only special to us outside of being native to the climate and region of Morada. The real significance is that it really all started with Henry Foppiano, my father, whose relentless passion for farming was personified through his long time relationships within the greater farm community. It has matured into a branded prestige. I guess it's one of the key components for maintaining the high quality brand, Morada Produce, that, quite frankly, has become my passion or I should say delightful challenge to maintain and expand upon.

Through the years, one thing is for sure in the industry, change. Having three generations of experience in the field allows us to see a little deeper in to the crystal ball of Mother Nature's ever-changing moods. This insight has given us the ability to make early adjustments to provide ongoing consistency. You may have guessed by now, consistency is our signature feature of the Morada Produce Brand.

We will always keep farming; not just for traditional purposes but for literally keeping grounded. It is vital for us to keep our roots as the first step in the process while we pack and distribute for neighboring growers. It becomes undeniable that their concerns are our concerns, keeping us on the same side of risk. Most importantly it allows us to recognize subtle issues in the field in order to prevent catastrophic or irreversible circumstances in the pack out to you.

In a sense our history is still alive and kicking, because agriculture is a cycle. As the years roll by and advancements in cultural practices branch out to new and better opportunities, we still have to wait for mother earth to begin the season right here in the fruitful San Joaquin Valley.
