In 2010 we ran our completely new re-vamped Rainier Line that will also pack Bings. Unique, yes. Yet, the best feature is the new line’s ability to pack 4-5 tons per hour, which equates to 400 to 500 boxes per hour!

For the 2011 season we will be installing our third cherry line which will be capable of over 25 tons/hr. This machine will be a mirror image of our highly efficient Red Cherry Line #1.

Volume is important, but in this case we feel strongly that the multiplied efficiency and speed makes an immeasurable impact on ensuring the freshest pack out. The new implementation will keep on the path of our commitment to quality. So when you see our walls expanded you can be rest assured that we have made room to facilitate all of the packing supplies, boxes and labels.

Another project that will be visible immediately as you enter Morada Produce is a new complexion. The road bordered walnut trees in the front of the main office have made way for a paved covered parking lot. However, this facelift is all about the beauty within. Its time to give back to our perpetual acreage of abundance with a long vision of Green. As grower’s we deal with green on a daily basis, so why not get a little hi-tech. We have installed a 390 kW solar energy system. Our solar panels provide shade and energy! It will also act as a cover/shade for every parking stall. This system can power 90% of the facility and is one of Northern California’s largest solar systems.
